This artwork was created from photos I shot in June 2018 from my 3rd row center seat at the 2018 Outlaw Music Festival held in Indianapolis, IN. My ticket was a gift from my son’s family. My son, Bryan, attended this concert with me in what has become a summer tradition. In fact, my son has already purchased tickets for us to see Willie perform again this summer. In 2017 I was treated to a Charlie Daniels Concert in Elgin, IL. I am so very thankful for my loving family!

From early childhood, Doug demonstrated a strong interest in drawing, painting, and building things. Upon graduating from high school, Doug became a student at The American Academy of Art, Chicago, where he studied commercial graphics, life drawing and watercolors.
