"Grand View"
This spectacular panoramic view is looking northward over Ellison Bay on the Green Bay side of Door County Peninsula, WI. In this area, steep dolomite bluffs rise nearly 200 feet above the water level to afford visitors breath-taking vistas all seasons of the year.
In this landscape scene, fall colors are enhanced by the presence of a golden-toned sky. From this vantage point, viewers are further treated to beautiful sunsets that dazzle the senses.
Pictured here in the foreground are a few Canadian geese feasting on emerald grasses before heading southward for the winter.
Scenes such as this cause me to pause and reflect on all the beauty that abounds.

Doug---just visited Door County--and the color tones in this painting remind me of a beautiful home I stayed in while away. Actually the home of a wonderful, multi-talented artist. It was inviting with the warm, golden colors. A nice memory---
