Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

"Sunset Sails"
What could be more beautiful than watching the sun setting over a body of water? Add a schooner under full sail, gliding through the water, backlit by an amazing sunset, and you will see something truly special! This is the essence of what I have tried to capture in my painting "Sunset Sails".
My inspiration for painting "Sunset Sails" came from photos I captured while visiting Key West, Florida. At evening time, throngs of people make their way to a waterfront pier, waiting and watching the setting sun put on its dazzling show of radiant colors. From a mostly quiet crowd, you can hear whispered expressions of oohs and aahs, as the glorious scene slowly fades to darkness. This event evokes memories of watching fireworks displays in the night sky.
What is it about sunsets and fireworks that beckons people to be drawn closer and look heavenward? Perhaps, it's the anticipation of witnessing something spectacular about to happen.

Doug Kreuger, Landscape Artist Member of Oil Painters of America Doug was born in, Aberdeen, South Dakota, and grew up in Hazel Crest, Illinois. From early childhood, Doug demonstrated a strong interest in drawing, painting, and building things. Throughout his school years, Doug excelled in all his art classes, winning numerous awards and recognition for his artistic abilities. Upon graduating from high school, Doug became a student at The American Academy of Art, Chicago, where he studied commercial graphics, life drawing and watercolors. Doug's first job as a professional artist was with Unigraf, a company that specialized in designing P.O.P (point-of-purchase) displays and display graphics. Doug left that company...
