"Mikey's Fun Wheel II" ---Disneyland Resort, Anaheim, CA
Is a digital rendition, created from my original Mikey's Fun Wheel photograph. By adjusting color hue, saturation, and adding a posterized effect, I was able to change the background to a colorful evening twilight sky—complemented by yellow-pink-roses in the foreground—adding beauty and drama to this fanciful scene.
Located inside Disney's California Adventure Park, on Paradise Pier, Mickey's Fun Wheel is one of only 2 �wonder wheel� Ferris wheels still operating in the United States. This crazy thrill ride features swinging baskets that rapidly race and sway along isolated loops, while the giant outer wheel slowly turns.
For the less adventurous---saner passengers can opt to ride inside the safer outer baskets, which turn more sensibly, as with a traditional ferris wheel.

About Doug Kreuger
Doug Kreuger, Landscape Artist Member of Oil Painters of America Doug was born in, Aberdeen, South Dakota, and grew up in Hazel Crest, Illinois. From early childhood, Doug demonstrated a strong interest in drawing, painting, and building things. Throughout his school years, Doug excelled in all his art classes, winning numerous awards and recognition for his artistic abilities. 

Upon graduating from high school, Doug became a student at The American Academy of Art, Chicago, where he studied commercial graphics, life drawing and watercolors. 

Doug's first job as a professional artist was with Unigraf, a company that specialized in designing P.O.P (point-of-purchase) displays and display graphics. Doug left that company...
