Description
"Winter's Thaw"
As the snow and ice retreat, the frozen ground begins to soften under the warmth of sunshine. New buds on branches swell in the expectation of spring's forthcoming. Still, a flock of geese relentlessly cling to the remaining ice, holding tight till their returning flight northward.

Just browsed your work; this is one of several I like a lot. Your interaction between photo, digital, and painting is impressive. I explore a similar direction with some of my photos, except no traditional brush strokes, just digital. I'll be watching and recommending your work Doug.

Thanks, Steven, for your kind remarks and support. I appreciate you taking the time to comment on my work.
