Description
Playing in a big pile of leaves on a beautiful fall day takes me back to my childhood. My brothers and I would rake fallen leaves into large leaf stacks, then dive into "The Leaf Pile", coming up with fistfuls of leaves to toss into the air and at each other. I remember running and and trying to dodge the leaf onslaughts.
As I remember this event now, I can still smell the sweet fall fragrance of the drying leaves and I can hear the quiet rustling and crunching sounds made when we wadded through pools of leaves that flooded the ground.
