Painting - Oil On Canvas Panel
Description
In coordination with a project to archive my early artwork, I am now offering reproduction prints for "Paradise Lagoon" –palette knife on canvas panel.
Painted in 1972, this painting depicts my vision of a tropical sun setting over a secluded lagoon. The sunlight is shown to be playing off the rippling water and surrounding landscape.

Wow! i just love this excellent painting Doug! Your colors are so vibrant! It reminds me a lot of the Impressionists. What a wonderful quality to paint textures and lighting. Bravo! v/f
Doug Kreuger replied:
Thanks so much Genevieve! I often think about returning to this more impressionistic style of painting, It's certainly a more expedient way to paint…
