"Newcomer"
Painted in 2000. In this portrait, a playful beagle puppy is shown climbing on top of its new favorite playmate, while the adult dog remains tolerant, if not patient, until the annoyance tires itself from the activity.
The beagles in this portrait belonged to my wife, Debbie. Shannon is the older dog, Carli is the puppy.
