"Guarding Angels"
Painted in 2001. On the watch for passing strangers or approaching mailman, 2 beagles sit with dutiful stares. On closer look, a pair of transparent angel wings can be seen on the backs of each dog — confirmation that dogs, indeed, are angels — here to watch over us.

Still LOL… Although this was a normal pose for these 2 pups, they refused to cooperate while I was trying to take a few reference shots. Finally, my wife stood outside the window and held their attention long enough for me to take some photos. ((-:
