Artist's Description

"Bear Necessities III"

--Digital Oil Painting

Created from a compilation of original photographs taken by Doug Kreuger.

In this scene, an adult brown bear is seen standing in a small mountain stream. Bathing? Drinking? ---Or simply trying to catch its next meal? Whatever the reasons, this bear looks quite happy and content in this natural surrounding.

Fresh mountain air, plenty of sunshine, green forests, clean water, open meadows, food sources, colorful wildflowers and a friend; everything necessary for bear, or man to live happily ever after.
