Artist's Description

Wall Street II

By Doug Kreuger and George Riney

In this rendition the color values have been dramatically intensified to reflect the excitement and allure of the stock market; think in terms of New Orleans Mardi Gras celebration, and the neon lights of Las Vegas.

The running bulls represent a bullish/bully market (Old English adj: very good, excellent).

So, why are the Bull and Bear symbols for rising and falling stock market prices? It is said, bull horns thrust upward while bear paws swipe downward.

The iconic building pictured in the background is the former headquarters of J.P. Morgan & Co., located at 23 Wall Street, also known as the ''Corner'', in Manhattan's Financial District.

This Wall Street artwork is perfectly suited for hanging in financial investment and advisor offices, or as a gift for anyone with an interest in the stock market.
