Chicago Reflections – "Winter Serenity Snow"
This artwork was created by digitally altering my original oil painting, "Spring Serenity". In this scene it is winter and snowing. A frosty haze hangs over the landscape, and a dusting of snow is beginning to accumulate—a for-telling of a long cold season. In this scene a sense of calmness and solitude prevails. Custom sizing and cropping are available.

Doug Kreuger, Landscape Artist Member of Oil Painters of America Doug was born in, Aberdeen, South Dakota, and grew up in Hazel Crest, Illinois. From early childhood, Doug demonstrated a strong interest in drawing, painting, and building things. Throughout his school years, Doug excelled in all his art classes, winning numerous awards and recognition for his artistic abilities. 

Upon graduating from high school, Doug became a student at The American Academy of Art, Chicago, where he studied commercial graphics, life drawing and watercolors. 

Doug's first job as a professional artist was with Unigraf, a company that specialized in designing P.O.P (point-of-purchase) displays and display graphics. Doug left that company...
