Rider & Trooper
An original artwork by Doug Kreuger
Depicted here are 2 dogs belonging to my son’s family:
Rider is a 20-month-old male Daniff — a mixed breed dog — crossed between a Mastiff and Great Dane. Loyal, intelligent, affectionate and protective, these pups display the best characteristics from their parents’ breeds.
Trooper is a 3-year-old male Black Labrador — some say the most lovable dog breed. This is certainly true in Trooper’s case, as well as for the two previous Labs my son has owned. Cuddly and clingy to a fault is a good way to describe Trooper’s personality. Tolerable of other dog breeds is another lovable quality.
Considering a 40-pound weight difference (Rider being the heavier) Trooper and Rider are great playmates, ignoring the fact that Rider often takes chewing bones away from Trooper.
This original artwork was lovingly created as a Christmas gift for my son's family.
