City by the Lake, by Doug Kreuger
This original artwork highlights the magnificent skyline of Chicago, looking westward from Lake Michigan at Navy Pier (Chicago’s number one tourist attraction). From this vantage point two of Chicago’s tallest skyscrapers can be seen; Trump Tower to the left, John Hancock Building to the right.
The buildings along Michigan Avenue between these two towers is commonly know as The Magnificent Mile, running from the Chicago River on the southern border to Oak Street at the northern end.
With its upscale hotels, shopping and fine dining, this popular area attracts millions of visitors every year.
